Joined the cohort with a conflicting question of whether joining the right place or is it necessary, stuffs like that but couldn't realise when I came out from that fear of keeping myself silent to engaging in the sessions and blending into with my active peers, the resource persons and the whole LFR team. Nostalgia hits hard and every Saturday and Sunday would feel a little void from now on. Kudos to the whole LFR team for making this thing a success, learned to both learn and unlearn. If you're willing to learn by switching on your camera and get a dream headstart to law school days, don't scroll down, make most of the early bird registrations and be onboard. You're in safe hands.

Aspire is genuinely one of those things that’s hard to explain to someone who hasn’t done it because from the outside it just sounds like another program. But the way it’s structured, the conversations it creates, the kind of people it brings together, it’s different in a way that’s hard to put into words. It doesn’t just teach you things, it makes you actually want to learn them which is rarer than it sounds especially in law. The community it builds around people who genuinely care about where the legal field is going is honestly what stays with you the most.

Its difficult, when you are a law student things are expected from you, may it be intellect wise or behaviour wise, so whenever I had any LFR sessions it eased my worry. It helped me take a few steps back and fall back in love with law all over again. And my mentor Khyati ma’am was perfect. At this stage of law school when everything seems like a path meant to be, she always answered with grace and acceptance. She did not judge or expect me to have answers to all the questions right away, which at this stage is always a burden during any conversation. And the best part, she had answers hearing them out loud clearly without any need for me to shuffle through riddles was extremely refreshing.

It was an amazing experience to be a part of LFR Batch 15. It cleared a mental fog and helped me gain valuable tips and tricks on and about different aspects of law school like CV drafting, how do we get into a good law firm, how do I navigate my career up ahead, or public speaking, what does it like to work with a law firm and much more. The detailed sessions conducted by team LFR gave a new dimension to my thought process. At the conclusion of the Batch 15, it feels like I now have a map and a compass in a vast undiscovered sea. I walked into the Law Firm Ready program not knowing what I was getting into. I walked out feeling like someone had finally handed me a map to a world I'd been trying to navigate blindly. Law school teaches you the law. But nobody really teaches you how to be a lawyer, how to carry yourself, how to think about your career, how to walk into a room and feel like you belong there. That's exactly what this program did for me, and I mean that from the bottom of my heart.
